whenever you can, can you make a fic of a daily routine with cg! matt and his baby? :) like the rundown of how he spends his day with her and how he takes care of her ?
[đŠš] day in the life | matt sturniolo one-shot
paring : cg!matt sturniolo & little!reader
summary : the daily routine of matt and his little :)
warning/extra tid-bits : use of Y/N, bath scene at the end (matt doesn't bath reader but still worthy to note)
word count : 2,226
divider credit : @agsthv
a/n : i have dyscalculia. this is a disorder that affects me ability to properly calculate time, so if anything seems to be happening too quickly or too slow based off the time stamps i'm really sorry (sorry for any typos, i'm just a girl !)
Saturday, 8:00 am.
Matt wakes up
Waking up in the morning had never been easier for Matt, his brothers had always given him crap in the morning for waking up grumpy. Though that never seemed to be a problem when the two of you were together.
Like clockwork, Matt woke up at 7am every morning when the two of you decided to have regression days. It gave him just the right amount of time he needed to brush his teeth and get started on breakfast.
Saturday, 9:15 am.
Y/N wakes up
Technically, you always woke up at 8am. However, Matt had a weak spot for your sleepy-demeanor and couldnât help but give you some morning cuddles before you actually woke up.
From the moment your eyes fluttered awake, Mattâs in âDada Modeâ. He leads you carefully from the bedroom to the bathroom, helping you sit atop the cool counter before helping you brush your teeth and get dressed.
Afterwards, the two of you make your way downstairs, Matt insisting you hold his hand. âJust in caseâ he always said, always pressing a gentle kiss to your temple once your hands interlocked.
Saturday, 9:30 am.
BreakfastÂ
Breakfast between the two of you was something Matt would always treasure. The way youâd instantly spring into conversation, asking him questions ranging from âWhere do pancakes come from, dada?â to âCan we play outside today?â.Â
Matt answered every single one with no frustration, even when you decided to go through âWhyâ phases. Today, Matt had made bite-sized chocolate chip and banana pancakes with scrambled eggs on the side.
During breakfast, Matt would usually give you the run-down of the day. If the two of you would be seeing his brothers, if you two had to run errands, etc.
Saturday, 10:00 am.
Independent Play
After breakfast, Matt would begin cleaning up the kitchen and run back upstairs to make the bed. This used to cause a problem as you werenât necessarily a little who liked to be left on their own. After a few tears and tantrums, your carer finally came to a solution.
Matt would help you pick out an activity, usually a craft of some type before completing his morning task so you could have a bit of independent play, knowing that at the end, you could show Matt what you had been working on.
Today, you chose coloring. Picking out a My Little Pony coloring book before flipping to an Apple-Jack page, instantly getting to work.Â
A few minutes later, Apple-Jack was now fully colored in and you could hear Matt trudging downstairs.
âDada! Dada!â You squealed, jumping up from your seat on the floor and rushing to the bottom of the stairs. âLook! Apâle Jack!â You giggle, bouncing excitedly as you shoved the paper in front of your carers face.
Matt gawked dramatically, sending rays of dopamine through your body. You loved when he looked at your works of art. âAngel, this is amazing!â He smiled, pulling you into a tight hug.Â
Itâs after this that the two of you find a space for the new drawing on the fridge before moving on.Â
Saturday, 11:30 am.
Daily Outing
Matt always tried making sure you got out at least once a day, whether it be a trip to the grocery store or a trip to the zoo. He knew regression was good for your mental health, he also knew that getting out of the house was amazing for your mental health.
Today, the two of you decided to go for a long drive and find a small park to have lunch at.Â
Matt quickly strapped you into the passenger seat, handing you your stuffed toy before closing the door and sitting on the driver's side.Â
On the car ride, Matt listened to you yap about any and everything you could with a sweet smile the entire time. Before you requested listening to music, which he happily turned on.
âDada! Mâ love this song!â You beamed, pointing at the radio excitedly. He chuckled, running a loving hand through your hair before turning it up a bit more.Â
The two of you continued on this journey for what felt like an hour, but in reality was only 30 more minutes. Not that you minded, anytime with your CG was time well spent in your professional opinion.Â
Saturday, 12:00 am.
Lunch
Thinking ahead, Matt had packed a small lunch before the two of you set off to the park. Nothing extravagant, just two ham and cheese sandwiches and a couple of water bottles.Â
After finding a nice clearing in a secluded area of the park, Matt wasted no time setting up a picnic blanket, sitting down and beginning to set out food for the two of you.
The picnic was amazing, just the two of you with the occasional squirrel that caused you to point excitedly.Â
âDada! Dada look!â
âI see him, darling. Can you take another bite of your sandwich for me?â
Saturday, 1:30 pm.
Naptime
Typically naptime looked like you falling asleep on top of Mattâs chest while watching a random movie together. However, due to the distance of the park and your apartment, Matt helped make the passenger seat as comfortable as possible for you.
Leaning it back just enough to where your back wouldnât hurt, turning on the seat warmer and playing some lo-fi disney music before putting the car into drive and taking any and every back road he could think of to avoid even the possibility of your sleep being interrupted by some random personâs road rage.Â
Matt made sure to throw his jacket over you, cursing himself for not bringing a blanket.Â
âNini dadaâŚâ
âNini bunny, weâll be home soon.â
âMâkayâŚâ
Saturday, 2:30pm.
Snack & Shows
Waking up was startling for you at first, unaware of how you ended up on the couch of your house and not in the passenger seat of your caregivers car.
âDada?!â You called out, tears already threatening to spill out from your eyes. Matt quickly rushed in from the kitchen, setting down a small butterfly-shaped plate on the coffee table.Â
âHeyâŚIâm here hun, whatâs going on?â Matt asked, brushing your hair away from your face. You stumbled for the words, eventually just hiding your face in his chest with a pathetic whimper.
âI was getting your snack, darling.â Matt cooed, rubbing your back. Just then you realized the small plate that was previously discarded was a homemade lunchable.Â
âFor âe?â You asked softly, a smile appearing on your face. Matt nodded enthusiastically, âJust for you, look, I even put a piece of candy for after.â He said as he picked up the plate and showed you the various pieces of food on it.
Smiling, you slowly began eating your homemade lunchable, kicking your feet contentedly.Â
The brunette man watched you for a few moments before swiping the remote off of the coffee table, clicking the TV on and scrolling over to Disney+.
âBluey!â You chirp as soon as you see the all too familiar logo appear on screen. Matt chuckles, nodding. âOkay, okay. Bluey it is.â He agreed, starting the show on the last episode the two of you left off on.
Matt was kinda worried at first that he wouldnât be able to enjoy any of the shows you wanted to watch whilst regressed but after one episode of Bluey? Yeah he was just as hooked as you were.
Saturday, 3:00pm.
Playtime
Matt always enjoyed playing with you, no matter the activity. Whether it was a game of hide ân seek, barbie dolls, or walking around the neighborhood collecting cool leavesâŚMatt adored every second of it.
Today, youâd chosen to pull out one of the many craft kits that Uncle Nick got you. This one being âPaint Your Own Birdhouseâ themed.
âDada paint that side, ân I paint this side.â You instructed the man carefully, handing him one of the tiny paint brushes that were included in the kit. Matt nodded, smiling as he watched you immediately get to work with painting your side.Â
âWhatâs my princess/prince painting?â Matt asked softly as he began dotting clouds on the blue background heâd just completed, he was going for a sky look.
âSecret.â You smiled, eyes fixated on whatever you were working on. âA secret?!â Matt gawked playfully, earning a giggle from you. âDada can seeâŚafter.â You decided, eyes glancing up at him for just a second.
Matt nodded, accepting that.Â
When it came time for the both of you to reveal your sides, you insisted on seeing Mattâs first.
Matt had painted on a nice sky-like scene, complete with clouds and a few stick figure birds. âAndyâs room!â You chirped, pointing excitedly. Mattâs head tilted in confusion for a moment before realizing the connection you made.
His sky-blue paired with the clouds looked like a replica of Andyâs bedroom wallâs from Toy Story. âIt does look like Andyâs room! Good job!â Matt praised, wrapping his arms around your waist. You giggled at this, settling into your caregivers grasp.
âDoes dada get to see your secret now?â Matt asked, resting his chin on your shoulder. You gasp excitedly, gently turning the birdhouse.Â
Mattâs smile grew ten times wider at the sight before him. Youâd painted on two stick figures, one resembling him, the other resembling you. If that wasnât cute enough, a familiar bunny plush was also joining the pair.Â
âOh my gosh!â Matt immediately jumped into praise, going on about how talented you were, and how you got the color of his eyes âjust rightâ.Â
You soaked up every minute of it, in the arms of your Dada.
Saturday, 5:30pm.
Dinner Prep
Matt always tried to include you in everything he did, that included making dinner. Even if Matt was scared out of his mind about the various different ways you could get hurt, he knew that you knew the dangers of the kitchen and respected that helping him cook was a privilege.
âSpaghetti?â Matt offered, looking at the pantry as he tried to figure out what to make for dinner. âNuh uh.â You shook your head, sitting atop the kitchen counter. âWhat aboutâŚsandwiches?â He hummed, earning another head shake. Sighing, Matt opened the freezer.
âPizza?â He asked, holding up a frozen pizza box. You nodded excitedly, âPiâza!â.
Due to the pizza being frozen, you didnât get to help much with actually making it but you still enjoyed sitting atop the counter as Matt put it in the oven.
Saturday, 6:30 pm.
Dinner
Once the pizza had cooled off some, Matt wasted no time plating it on a dinosaur themed plate before serving it to his little.
You hummed happily, bouncing in your seat as you took the first bite. It was amazing, of course. You thought your caregiver was the best cook in the whole world, despite the fact the pizza came already made.
âDada eat?â You asked as Matt sat down, a slice of pizza in tow. The brunette man nodded, brushing your hair away from your face. âYup! Is it good?â He asked before taking his first bite.Â
You nodded, âDada âs the bestest chef ever!â You claim, earning a wide toothy grin from your caregiver. âEver?â He asked, basking in the praise. âUh-huh!â His little nodded, continuing to eat her food.
Saturday, 7:00 pm.
Dinner Clean UpÂ
Cleaning up after dinner wasnât your favorite activity, but you did like playing with the bubbles in the sink.
âCareful baby, the waterâs warm.â Matt said gently, his sleeves rolled up as he carefully washed the plates the two of you had used. You nodded, poking at the bubbles the dish-soap had created.
âBubbles later?â You asked softly, looking up at Matt with a hopeful expression. Matt chuckled, nodding. âYeah, Iâll run you a bath.â He agreed.
Saturday, 7:30 pm.
Bubbles
Bathtime didnât look the same for you and Matt as it did other caregiver and little duos. Some people were comfortable being bathed by their carer but you werenât, which Matt respected wholeheartedly.
So, instead of Matt helping you wash, he learned to craft the perfect bath. Full of bath bombs, salts, squirt toys and of courseâŚbubbles.
âBubbles ready?â You ask, setting down your stuffed rabbit as Matt exited the bathroom. Your carer nodded, âAll ready, call me if you need anything. Okay?â You nod, thanking Matt before rushing into the bathroom- closing the door behind you.Â
You couldnât help but let out an excited squeal at the smell of rose-scented bath products that overtook the room.
Saturday, 9:30 pm.
Bedtime
When finished with your bath, you excitedly step into your pajamas and brush your teeth.
âAll done?â Matt asked as you left the bathroom, the brunette man already curled up in bed. You nod, a sleepy smile spreading across your face as you climb under the covers and into your caregivers arms.
âDid you have a good bath?â He hummed, brushing your hair away from his face. You look over the bedspread, not answering him until you find your plush rabbit, âMhm! Tâank âou dada.âÂ
Matt smiled at your words, kissing the top of your head as he pulled you into a tight embrace. Sleep looming over the two of you, âNight night dada,â You yawn out.
âNight night sweet pea.â

20 Question Fic Writer Tag
Hell yeah I'll play. Thanks @palfriendpatine66 :D
How many works do you have on ao3?
AO3 says ten, but one of those is a series continuation of another one, so I count it as nine...although tomorrow that will go up by one, after the reveals for the Ghost Window challenge go out.
2.) What's your ao3 word count?Â
Oh god. 690,376. I honestly think I was happier not knowing that fact about myself.
3.) What fandoms do you write for?Â
I don't multitask well. I can write Star Wars fics or I can write Star Wars fics. I haven't even ventured outside the Clone Wars era yet.
4.) What are your top five fics by kudos?
Some Technical Difficulties - big gap - Solsbury Hill - An Uncivil War - medium-sized gap - An Unlikely Duo - another gap-ish - Down by the Seaside.
5.) Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yep. I like it when authors reply to me when I leave a comment, so I try to pay it forward. Also sometimes we get into fun little side chats.
6.) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
At the moment, not one single damn one of them. They have angst in them, but none of them end on angst. However as of about twenty-four hours from now, my answer will be, Ghost Window AU.
7.) What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Literally all of them. I'm happy to read angst, but when it comes to writing I am firmly in the happy endings camp.
8.) Do you get hate on fics?
I had some people tell me they were dropping out of Solsbury Hill because it wasn't getting to the Obikin fast enough, but I wouldn't call that hate. So, no.
(Side note, though: you don't have to tell authors that. Just delete your subscription quietly.)
But, I am also very ready to delete any and all negative comments. This is my fun side project; good vibes only.
9.) Do you write smut? If so what kind?
...pretty vanilla kind, honestly. Again, I read much more adventurously than I write. (Although, as recently as two years ago I would have said I don't write smut at all, so hit me up two years from now and maybe I'll be writing hardcore d/s, I don't know.)
10.) Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
By the strict definition, no. If you're talking 'dump Star Wars characters into settings of other movies', then hell yeah, that's kind of my jam right now. Down by the Seaside is Obikin Overboard. Next year I'm planning to publish Obikin Jurassic Park, Obikin Parent Trap, and Obikin Princess Diaries II. And I have a couple more on my to-do list.
11.) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Is this a thing I need to worry about?? Shit.
12.) Have you ever had a fic translated?
@kittonafoxgirl did a podfic of Some Technical Difficulties and it is still like one of the top five most rad things that has ever happened to me; does that count?
13.) Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
No but @fulcrum843 are currently mulling something over...
I do get a lot of help with my writing though. @piecesofeden11 basically wrote all the DnD stuff in An Unlikely Duo. I talk stuff out on Tumblr with folks all the time before I actually sit down to write it (or during, lol).
14.) What's your all time favorite ship?
I have no plans to write anything other than Obikin, and there's so much new good fic that it takes up most of my reading time as well.
15.) What's a WIP you'd like to finish, but doubt you ever will?
I wouldn't call it a WIP because there are no words on a page but I love the *idea* of a fic based on Jenn Barkley from Parks & Rec but have no idea what direction to take it and may never get to it. (If anyone wants to take this idea and run with it please do; it is very much up for grabs!)
16.) What are your writing strengths?
This is a weird thing to answer about myself but I hope I write with a sense of movement, propulsion, even a little suspense - as a reader I love to feel that I have to turn the page, I have to see what comes next, I don't want to put this fic/book down - and I try to work towards that goal in my own writing.
17.) What are your writing weaknesses?
Getting bogged down in details. It drives me crazy in movies when characters have these huge mansions but seemingly never go to work and somehow this has translated into me being incapable of just writing a smutty one-shot or whatever because what is everyone's job and how much is their mortgage payment and do they get paid on Fridays or Mondays and how many bedrooms does that apartment have.
18.) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
See answer above about over-complicating things: I came up with this whole system for An Uncivil War for whether I'm writing out the dialogue in a language other than Basic (I feel like we really only have enough information for me to be able to do this in Huttese and Mando'a, and even then only short conversations in certain subjects), or simply noting that a character is saying something in another language ("he said in Ryl" or whatever), or mixing Basic and a word/words in another language within the same sentence. It was important to me to capture that multilingualism, but it's also a lot of work, ngl.
19.) First fandom you wrote for?
Technically Johnlock but I never finished/published anything.
20.) Favorite fic you've ever written?
I love all my babies equally, she lied.
It's the Can't Stop the Suns series, which is An Uncivil War, Pick Up the Pieces (more than halfway completed), and Sometimes Fate Steps In (loosely outlined). Sometimes I'll just look over my notes and get giddy about how much good stuff I'm packing in there and how much *more* good stuff I haven't even gotten to yet. I'm throwing the kitchen sink of stuff I love at it. Even if the final version doesn't quite live up to the vision I see in my head (it rarely does), as long as I get close I'll be happy.
I tag @piecesofeden11, @underacalicosky, @fulcrum843, and, as usual, anyone else who feels up for it!

Tutorial: Glyphs
Follow "Tutorial Illustrator Glyphs.pdf" in Design 2 > NYU Design 2 Work Files > Glyphs Tutorial.
If you finish early: Use Illustrator to re-create a classic Plakatstil poster. Alternate challenge: Pick a product from a modern brand. Translate one of their current advertisements to a classic Plakatstil poster. For example: A poster for Delta airlines in the style of Lucian Bernhardâs famous poster for Manoli cigarettes. Bonus: Use a Glyph from Illustrator.
Whatâs Your Point?
1. Start with a vertical page, letter size.
Make a rectangle.
2. Create a pink background with a slight vertical gradient. I used spring pink from the âGradients > Seasonsâ library. You can access this through the color palate, which is on the right side of your screen -- the one that looks like a windowpane. Once you open that, choose the library icon on the lower left.
3. Use the type tool to write the words Whatâs Your Point? (Donât draw a rectangle for your type. Just select the cursor and type.)
4. Bring up your Character panel and change the font to Arial Black. Kern the letters with the ALT-left arrow command. Change the color of the type. I used the red from the âArt History > Pop Artâ library.
5. Use the text tool to draw a rectangle for Area Type. Cut and paste or type the poster copy: Dead dad. New King. Whatâs a Prince to do? Especially when everyone keeps dying. 2BOrNot2B? Revenge! Suicide! Sword fights! Poor Yorick ⌠#HAMLET.â
6. Change to Goudy Old Style or something similar, like Times New Roman. The copy should be 18 point. Hamlet should be 32.
7. Add area type for the address and date. Change to 18 point Goudy Old Style (or something similar, like Adobe Garamond).
8. Add skull art. Go to the Type > Glyphs menu. Find Wingdings. Add the skull as a font.
9. Select the entire glyph. Change to Outlines. Use direct select tool to delete crossbones.
10. Rotate skull and align eyes with the Os. Change skull to white.
11. Change your type to Outlines and use the direct select to delete the center of the font.
12. For the sword logo on the bottom left of the page, first, copy the rectangle made with the question mark at the end of the word "point.â
13. Keeping the proportions, size the rectangle to match the height of âHAMLETâ and 566 LaGuardia.
14. Add dagger art. Go to the Type > Glyphs menu. Find Webdings. Add the knife as a font. Select the entire glyph. Change to Outlines. Use direct select tool to delete the shadow on the blade and the hilt.
15. Place the knife on top of your rectangle. Select both together. Bring up the Pathfinder panel. Choose âMinus Frontâ to punch out the knife shape.
Exercised based on the Lynda.com tutorial 11 Things Every Beginner Needs to Learn to Love Illustrator with Russell Viers.
If you finish early: Use Illustrator to re-create your sign with a classic Plakatstil poster look.

C â The Way Itâs Written â Types
This is the first part in a possibly multi-part series of posts about the C programming language. Itâs based not on common examples or what youâll see your particular C compiler output, but on whatâs written in the actual standard(s) that define the language. That being ISO/IEC 9899, in particular the 2018 revision (often named C17 or C18), however due to upcoming significant changes in the next revision (C2X), Iâll be skipping over a couple bits here and there that will be deprecated or removed by said revision, Iâll also revert to older versions if needed for special cases. All that being said, unless stated otherwise these posts are about C17. This series also assumes a baseline level familiarity with programming in general and expects you to know the general syntax style of C (if youâve written or read and C++, Java, C#, or any similar language youâre good).
Due to the nature of C17 being an ISO/IEC document, it is not freely available for download, however the final working draft version of it is freely available, and there should be no significant changes between it and final. Link here.
Now, in what might seem like a very odd choice, weâre going to instantly skip to section 6 of the standard, not only that weâre skipping directly to 6.2.5 (page 31), because this is what defines the fundamental types of the language. Paragraphs 2, 4 and 6 are the important ones right now. From 2 we learn that the type _Bool (just bool in C2X) is at least large enough to hold the values 0 or 1 (hence its name, bool, short for boolean). Then we come to paragraph 4, which states there are 5 standard signed integer types: char, short, int, long, and long long (thereâs also a statement about extended types but that can be ignored for the moment). Finally we hit paragraph 6, which simply states that all signed integer types have an unsigned equivalent that can be written by simply attaching the word unsigned to one of the types (ex. unsigned int), and that these 5 unsigned types combined with _Bool make up the set of unsigned types, and that any unsigned type takes up the same amount of storage/memory space as its corresponding signed type.
Moving back slightly to paragraph 5 we learn that signed char and char take the same amount of memory (and as such so does unsigned char), it also states that the int type should be the natural operating size of whatever machine architecture the code is being written for (so long as it satisfies a minimum value requirement). Moving forward to paragraph 9 we learn that, as you would expect, the signed types can store negative and positive values, and that the unsigned types can only store positive (or zero) values. We also learn that by definition unsigned values can not overflow, instead their value simply wraps around the range, however this is often referred to as overflow regardless.
Yet further down (paragraph 15, next page) we learn that char, signed char, and unsigned char are all different types, however char must match either char or unsigned char (the reasoning for this is that a compiler is free to choose the most efficient match for processing).
So with all that jumble out of the way what did we actually learn? Well: there exist 5 fundamental integer types: char, short, int, long, and long long, and that signed and unsigned versions of each exist, we also know thereâs an unsigned type, _Bool that can represent the values 0 and 1. Together these make up the integer types of C.
Beyond integers thereâs also floating point types, float, double, and long double, but those are a much more complicated subject that are outside the scope of this post. Thereâs also the void type, which has confusing wording that basically boils down to âyou canât use this, it represents nothingâ (which is why functions with no return value have their return type marked void). And finally that you can make arrays out of these types (except void), make structure types that contain any number of these types (except void), make union types (complicated subject, think a box that can store only one type (except void) at a time), you can declare functions that return any type, you can have a pointer to any type (including void in order to represent a pointer to an unknown type), and finally that any type can be made atomic (safe for access from multiple threads).
Most of that statement can be freely ignored for now, itâs a mess that weâll (hopefully) get into later. The important bit to know is that you can build other types out of the fundamental types.
Moving beyond that section and into 6.2.6 we learn from 6.2.6.1 Paragraphs 2-4 that objects (any typeâs representation in memory basically) is made out of a continuous sequence of bytes. Moving to 6.2.6.2 we get to the representation of integer types, which is pretty much what you would expect for unsigned values (an unsigned integer of size n value bits can store 2n values from 0 to 2n-1), signed integer types in C17 list three different representations, however C2X is reducing that down to just twosâ complement (a signed integer of size n bits can store from -2n-1 to 2n-1-1, negative zeros are not possible).
So far: there exist integer types, and these store values in the expected way, but what are the range of values they must store?
Section 5.2.4.2.1 (page 20), paragraph 1 states that all implementations of the language must have the integer types be able to represent at least the values in the ranges listed below, meaning an implementation is free to expand the range if it sees fit (like how many do with int). From here we learn that a char must be at least 8 bits, and as such a signed char must be able to represent -127 (-128 in twosâ complement) to 127, and that an unsigned char is 0 to 255. Helpfully the actual (minimum) number of bits for each type is specified in a comment next to the definition. short is 16 bits/2 bytes, int is also 16 bits/2 bytes (again often expanded to 32 bits/4 bytes), long is 32 bits/4 bytes, and long long is 64 bits/8 bytes. _Bool due to its nature as a boolean type is not mentioned (actually any values placed into an object of type _Bool will become 0 if the value is 0 or 1 otherwise).
In summary: 6 types, _Bool (0 or 1), char (at least 8 bits), short (at least 16 bits), int (at least 16 bits, often 32), long (at least 32 bits), and long long (at least 64 bits).
So thatâs it? For now yeah, those are the basic integer types of the C programming language, I know it was messy and weirdly formatted and confusing at times but I hope it helps understand the language a bit more, or at the very least was entertaining (even if that entertainment derived from âwhat the hell is this language?â). However, these complexities are part of the reason I love this language so much, everything is well defined but still variable depending on the system and compiler, thereâs a reason for everything in this language ranging anywhere from âoldâ to âfor performance reasons we canât mandate thisâ, which if this series continues weâll really get into. But for now, I hope this was enough of a taste of the standard to either make you interested in seeing more, or scare you the hell away forever. Thank you for reading and have a good time. If you have any suggestions for future parts or ways I could improve these writings please inform me. I need to go to sleep now.

*Will Smith hands*
I'm tentatively opening requests again! At this point in time, I will be accepting requests for @xxsycamore's Kinktober prompt list, as well as 15 normal/unrelated requests. Under the cut will be some rules regarding this, as well as the kinktober prompts I'm comfortable attempting to write.
DISCLAIMER: It will take time for me to finish the requests. It can take over a month or longer at times depending on how difficult work/life is with me. Please be aware of this, and the fact that I will turn down any requests that I do not feel I can write well/do not spark joy. Thank you đ
⥠Rules
For the kinktober prompts, I am accepting combo requests (kink prompt + dialogue) or just standalones of the kink or the dialogue with a pairing.
A max of two characters, excluding MC/Reader, per request. If you are wanting a threesome or poly type scenario, please specify. Generally in these cases I will have the suitors either being intimate with each other as well, or alluding to it, unless specified otherwise.
I am okay with writing suitor/suitor, it just needs to be specified so I don't accidentally misunderstand.
I write MC often with she/her pronouns and a vagina when I'm not writing in second person POV. If you would prefer otherwise I do need this to be stated so I don't misunderstand.
I enjoy writing gentle femdom, or MC leading in a lot in sexual situations, and my imagination will default to this a lot. If you want Mc to be more submissive and the suitor more dominant, please state this- otherwise with any request I receive, I will be going with the first idea it gives me, and you will run the risk of getting responses consisting of the suitor wearing lingerie and being lightly bullied đ
The characters I feel decent enough at writing are Isaac, Arthur, Theo, Vincent, and Comte. Any other character I am willing to attempt, but please know they may sound very stiff and awkward.
The only characters I absolutely refuse to write for are Faust and Shakespeare. (There is nothing wrong with these characters!! Shakespeare is intimidating to write and Faust just makes me a smidge uncomfortable.)
Content I refuse to write is non-con, consensual non-con, incest (Unfortunately a sandwich between Theo and Vincent slides into that territory for me *personally* so be aware any requests for that will be rejected), sounding, cheating, NTR, vore, inflation, micro/macro...
Responses are unbeta'd, and I'm specifically opening kinktober requests alongside 'normal' requests so I can try to get used to writing other kinks again, so be aware they may sound rusty/stiff.
These are not for full fledged fics, these will be anywhere from ~500-1k+, more than likely. It's just based on how much I'm inspired by the request.
Please feel free to ask any questions, as I know my wording can be confusing at times or I may have neglected to cover something most 'Rule' pages do.

"That's it, there we goâŚjust like that."
"Are you trying to seduce me? Because it's working."
"It's time for payback. Turn around."
"So you do like getting spoiled after all."
"Don't stop looking at me while you do it."
"You say that, but all I hear is 'more, more, more'"
"I want to love every inch of you tonight."
"Hey, hey, two on one is not fair!"
"Enough of that, let me fuck you."
"You can still keep going?! What in the world are you?"
"Take your time. The whole night is ahead of us."
"You like the way this fabric feels, don't you?"
"Your face is a mess⌠a very pretty mess."
⥠Note for 'normal' requests: When I say 'normal', I just mean anything unrelated to kinktober. I would Prefer these to be unrelated to smut. I'm putting a cap of 15 requests for normal requests specifically. Kinktober prompts will be accepted until I decide otherwise.

Unlocked Pit Fiend - CR20 Devil
This is a new type of post: Pathfinder Unlockedâs version of an existing monster. Weâre starting with an iconic boss, a pit fiend.
Artwork by Iromonic on ArtStation.
The purpose of this post isnât to create a new monster for GMs to use, but to create a version of an existing monster that is more interesting for players to fight. Pit Fiends are iconic, classic monsters that nearly every D&D and Pathfinder player is familiar with, but if you actually fight one in battle, it mostly just casts Meteor Swarm and Quickened Fireball, which is an incredibly effective but incredibly boring strategy that the players canât really do anything about. It just hits everyone and does massive damage.
My goal was to create a version of the monster that still felt like the same monster, but one which allowed players to interact with its abilities a lot more.
This pit fiend should use Wall of Fire every other turn to create a series of criss-crossing walls which players have to move through in order to avoid the Meteor Nova effects. As the battle goes on, the number of walls will increase and avoiding the explosions will get harder.
Among other changes, I gave this creature legendary resistance instead of spell resistance. Reducing a bar on the enemy so that you can start inflicting status effects when the bar hits zero is so much more engaging than simply being told âthat turn was wastedâ when you roll a 4 on the die. If your turn reduces an enemyâs legendary resistance points, that doesnât help you immediately, but itâs progress youâre making in the fight. Just like when you reduce its hit points.
The two types of DR together might seem a little complicated at first glance. Essentially, if you hit it with a weapon thatâs either good or silver, but not both, it has DR 10 instead of DR 15. If you hit it with a weapon thatâs both good and silver, you bypass its DR.
In unrelated news, I started a Ko-Fi page, so if you want to support this blog, now thereâs an easy way to do so! https://ko-fi.com/lockez

SPECIAL ABILITIES
Devil Shaping (Su) Three times per day, a pit fiend can spend a minute to transform nearby lemures into other lesser devils. A pit fiend can transform one lemure for every Hit Die the pit fiend possesses. It can then reshape these lemures into a number of Hit Diceâs worth of lesser devils equal to the number of lemures affected. For example, a typical 20 Hit Dice pit fiend could transform 20 lemures into two bone devils (10 HD each), or three bearded devils (6 HD each, leaving two lemures unchanged), or any other combination of lesser devils. Lemures to be reshaped must be within 50 feet of the pit fiend, becoming stationary and unable to move once the shaping begins. After a minute passes, the lemures reform into the shape of a new lesser devil ready to follow the orders of the pit fiend. Although pit fiends can, technically, elevate a mass of 20 lemures into a new pit fiend, most are hesitant to do so since they have no special control over a devil created in this manner.
Disease (Su) Devil Chills: Biteâinjury; save Fort DC 32; onset immediate; frequency 1/day; effect 1d4 Str damage; cure 3 consecutive saves. The save DC is Constitution-based.
Poison (Ex) Biteâinjury; save Fort DC 32; frequency 1/round for 10 rounds; effect 1d6 Con damage; cure 3 consecutive saves. The save DC is Constitution-based.
Quickened Wall of Fire (Sp) A pit fiend can only use its Quickened Wall of Fire spell-like ability once every two rounds. It can use Quickened Wall of Fire a total of five times per day instead of the typical three times per day usually granted by the Quicken Spell-Like Ability feat.
Ember Step (Su) Once per minute as a move action, a pit fiend can become invisible and teleport to any fire within 50 feet that is at least 5 feet wide. It can make a stealth check as part of this teleportation. This movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity. The invisibility lasts for 18 rounds.
Meteor Nova (Sp) As a standard action, as a spell-like ability, a pit fiend can conjure an orb of flame over its head, which remains stationary for 18 rounds. Each turn as a free action while this orb remains, the pit fiend can choose three locations that have line of effect to the orb, and visibly mark them - a glowing magic circle with a 20-foot radius briefly flashes at each location. These locations can overlap or even be in the same spot, but they must be within long range (1120 feet) of both the pit fiend and the orb.
At the start of each of the pit fiendâs turns, the orb creates three fireballs, one of which strikes at each of the marked locations, dealing 6d6 fire damage in a 20-foot radius. A DC 27 Reflex save halves the damage. Spell resistance applies.
This is considered a 9th-level evocation spell.
Legendary Resistance (Ex) Three times per day, when subjected to an effect which allows for a saving throw, a pit fiend can choose to automatically succeed on the saving throw roll. Alternately, when subjected to an effect which allows for spell resistance, it can spend a use of Legendary Resistance to ignore the effect.

Grevan
Image by Anthony Carpenter, Š Kenzer and Co.
[Hey! A Hackmaster 5e monster thatâs not a animalistic quadruped facing left! Most of the humanoids in the first 5e Hacklopedia are takes on traditional D&D fare like gnolls, goblinoids and orcs, but the grevan is an interesting giant kin. We get several pages on the development of their culture and different subsets within, which Iâm not going to get into. I like them as a different take on the âevil elvesâ trope, as if Romulans were religious zealots and also nine feet tall.]
Grevan CR 8 NE Humanoid (giant) This humanoid stands half again as tall as a human, with pointed ears and chiseled features. He wears leather armor and carries finely made gear.
Grevans are sometimes called âelven giantsâ or âgiant elvesâ, as they combine features of both these races. Instead of being a crossbreed of the two, they are descended from elves that were devoted to violence and warfare above all else, and were rewarded by their dark gods for it. Grevan society has absorbed weaker, dumber giants like ettins, trolls and ogres, which are often found among them as disposable troops and heavy laborers. The grevan language is a creole of Giant and Elven, and a speaker of either of those languages can understand Grevan with a successful DC 15 Linguistics check (if both languages are spoken, only a DC 10 Linguistics check is required). Their tongue notably has no word for âpeaceâ, only âpauseâ or âweaknessâ, and they view warfare for its own sake as the driving force of their civilization.
Grevans will often attack targets that have little value to traditional military strategy, but serve mystical or sacrificial purposes in their rites. Grevans hold sacred an entire pantheon of gods, each of whom is worshiped for some facet of the art and craft of warfare. The only members of grevan society who are not expected to fight and die are the very young and very old, who are put to work in order to support the war machine. Grevans value slaves for their knowledge and skills as well as for labor, and do not casually kill and eat them the way hill or frost giants may. This does not make any slaves truly members of the society, and even the most valued and loyal slaves are often turned into living shields if a grevan base is under attack.
In combat, a grevan favors the application of overwhelming force if possible. They are as skilled at range as they are in melee, and usually attack with a volley of arrows from ambush. They do not hesitate to close the gap, however, and a grevanâs position in their society is measured by how many kills they make in combat. They fight dirty, and grevans often use false retreats, traps or hazards on the battlefield, and attack resting or recovering forces. Grevans will gladly fight to the death, viewing death outside of combat as shameful. As the grevan proverb states, âhe who is without enemies is lostâ.
A grevan stands about nine feet tall and weighs nearly seven hundred pounds on average. Their life expectancy is shorter than that of elves, with venerable members of the species reaching 200 years of age, but few grevans live that long before dying in battle.

Fate and Phantasms #74: Nursery Rhyme
Today on Fate and Phantasms, weâre making a hero of the children, Nursery Rhyme! You might think being a book would make adventuring difficult, but it actually makes it much easier (for you, not the person carrying you). Just make sure you skip ahead if things get too scary, getting pages torn out hurts.
Check out the build breakdown below the cut, or book it here to see her character sheet!
Race and Background
You might not have noticed, but âliving bookâ isnât a race in D&D, so this will technically be more of an Alice build (or Lewis Carrol?) than Nursery Rhyme. Donât worry, the star of the show will pop up soon enough. Weâre starting off as a Human though, giving you and Nursery Rhyme +1 to all stats. Youâre also a Cloistered Scholar, thanks to literally being a book. This gives you proficiency in History and Nature.
Stats
You might be a kid, but youâre also a book, so your Intelligence should be pretty high. Also, you might be a book but youâre also a kid, so your Charisma should be next. Books arenât known for being hard to kill, so youâll want your Dexterity to be high to get out of the way of attacks. After that is Constitution; I know what I just said, but youâre still a servant. Your Wisdom is a bit low-âpracticalâ knowledge isnât your forte. Finally, dump Strength. Youâre a child, book, and caster. None of those things are that strong.
Class Levels
1. If we want to make a living book, weâll have to be pretty clever at magic, so weâre a Wizard. This gives you proficiency in Intelligence and Wisdom saves, as well as two wizard skills; youâre literally a reflection of other peopleâs minds, so your Insight is pretty good. Youâre also literally made out of magic, so you should know your Arcana.Â
First level wizards learn Spells that use their Intelligence to cast and prepare. You also get Arcane Recovery, letting you recover half your wizard level, rounded up, in total spell levels on a short rest. Youâre made of magic, so running out is a bad idea.
Wizards get a lot of spells, especially at first level, so forgive me for being brief here. You get Minor Illusion (get creative with it), Gust, and Frostbite (Wind and Ice magic are a little bit your thing) for your cantrips. For first level spells, Magic Missile and Mage Armor are classics at this point, Feather Fall is another way to use wind to your advantage, Disguise Self will help you transform, Sleep will help you lull kids to nap, and finally, you get Fog Cloud thanks to your connection to the London Singularity.
2. Second level wizards pick a school of magic, and the Order of Scribes will help you make a sentient spellbook, which is pretty important for this build. When you pick this subclass, you learn how to make a Wizardly Quill as a bonus action. It reduces the time needed to copy spells, and you can use your bonus action to erase anything youâve written with it thatâs within 5Ⲡof you. You can also make an Awakened Spellbook. Itâs sentient, can be used as your casting focus, allows you to replace one spellâs damage type with another if they share a spell level, and you can ignore the additional time caused by ritual casting once per long rest. You can only have one at a time, but it can be replaced over a short rest, using your wizardly quill and a blank book or attuned spellbook.
For your spells, Color Spray creates a dazzling display that can blind creatures in its area of effect. You can also cast Comprehend Languages to help translate yourself.
3. Third level wizards get second level spells. Alter Self properly changes your form instead of relying on an illusion, and Gust of Wind gives you a stronger wind attack. Not actually damaging, but stronger.
4. Use your first Ability Score Improvement to bump up your Intelligence for stronger spells. Speaking of, you learn to make Friends, and can use Invisibility to be awesome at hide and seek. You also get Enlarge/Reduce, which will make more sense in a bit.
5. Fifth level wizards get third level spells. Fire isnât really your thing, but thanks to your awakened spellbook, that doesnât matter and you can get Fireball anyway! Your Nameless Forest also starts to grow at this level, allowing you to Slow down enemies.
6. You can finally ascend to your second stage thanks to Manifest Mind at sixth level. As long as your Awakened Spellbook is on your person, you can use a bonus action to create a tiny glowing construct. The Mind is intangible, so you only have to worry for Aliceâs health if an enemy know Dispel Magic. It has 60Ⲡof darkvision, and you can use an action to see through it for as long as you maintain concentration. You can cast spells through it as well, a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency modifier. It uses your bonus action to move 30Ⲡper round, and can pass through creatures, but not objects. Also, it has to stay within 300Ⲡof you.
You can manifest a mind this way once per long rest, or by burning spell slots.
Remember how we got Enlarge/Reduce earlier? This is why. If you want to be child sized, youâll have to spend your concentration doing so.
You can now Summon Fey Spirit to bring the Jabberwock down on your enemies, or use a Hypnotic Pattern for a more effective Nameless Forest that stops people entirely. Also, Summon Fey Spirit is complicated, so check the character sheet for all its abilities.
7. Seventh level wizard, meet fourth level spells! Confusion is another mind melting spell, with the added benefit that it doesnât end on taking damage. Fabricate will help you bring your wonderland a bit more to life, as long as you have raw materials on hand.
8. Use your next ASI to become an Elemental Adept, ignoring resistance to Cold damage and causing every damage die you roll that does cold damage to be at least 2. Weâd grab this again for wind magic too, but bludgeoning isnât an option.
For your spells, Hallucinatory Terrain will help you make an actual forest if you want it, and Ice Storm is a big olâ storm of ice. Or whatever else you want it to be, right now it could be force, fire, or just pure bludgeoning damage too.Â
9. Another two levels has passed, so youâve got fifth level spells! Animate Objects literally brings your wonderland to life to attack enemies, and Creation will help you make whatever you need, so long at it fits in a 5Ⲡcube and isnât a spell component. Now you can literally make candy out of nothing, awesome!
10. At tenth level you become a Master Scrivener, allowing you to copy a level 1 or 2 spell onto a blank sheet of paper or parchment, creating a spell scroll only you can read at the end of a long rest. It has to take an action to cast, but when you do it casts at one level higher than its base. It can be used once, and lasts until the end of your next long rest. You also only use half the cost and time to make normal spell scrolls.
For spells, Message and Dream are good ways to tell stories or other information without being overheard. You can also Control Winds, slowing down enemies, preventing flying creatures from flying, or making an updraft to prevent falling damage and add to your vertical jump.
11. You know the drill by now. Eleventh level of wizard, sixth level of spells. You can now turn your Nameless Forest into a Mental Prison, locking one creature in place if it fails an intelligence save. Making the intelligence save or being forced out of the prison also causes psychic damage, so thatâs fun. Weâll also pick up an upgrade for the Jabberwock while weâre here, turning it into a fiend with Summon Fiendish Spirit. Itâs similar to Fey Spirit, but thereâs different abilities available, so check that out in the character sheet too.
12. Use this ASI to maximize your Intelligence to make a wonderland that even fewer people will want to leave.
You can also Detect Thoughts because you are someoneâs thoughts, or you can make a Sleet Storm for hilarious pratfalls and to ruin someoneâs concentration.Â
13. At this level, you get seventh level spells, like Mirage Arcane which lets you make even more realistic landscapes and Simulacrum to make yourself a slightly more permanent body.
14. Fourteenth level scribes are One with the Word, giving you advantage on all arcana checks while holding your storybook. When you take damage with Alice out and about, you can prevent all that damage by killing her instead and temporarily losing spells from your book with a total level equal to 3d6. If there arenât enough spells to cover that cost, you instantly drop to 0 hp instead. Until you finish 1d6 long rests, you canât cast them again. Also, you can only use this reaction once per long rest.
You also grab Whirlwind for your first truly damaging wind spell, and Polymorph for further shapeshifting shenanigans.
15. For your eighth level spells, grab Feeblemind to finish the effects of Nameless Forest, destroying a creatureâs intelligence and charisma scores. You also get Telepathy, because frankly wizards have too many spells.
16. Use this ASI to round up your Constitution and Charisma so you can get hit a bit more and so people want to hit you a bit less. You also learn how to Modify Memory to âhelpâ people play in your Nameless Forest forever, and Stinking Cloud because thatâs the closest weâve got to demonic fog.
17. You finally have ninth level spells, giving you Wish for the truly powerful parts of your noble phantasms, and Gate to travel to other stories.
18. Eighteenth level wizards have Spell Mastery, giving you a first and second level spell you can cast for free. Iâd pick Fog Cloud for a permanent London mist and Enlarge/Reduce so you can always be child-sized, but you do you- this is a guide, not a mandate.
You also get even more spells; Greater Invisibility and Fly will help you enter your spirit form for when you donât want to deal with something.
19. Use your last ASI to improve your Dexterity so you get hit less. You also learn Cone of Cold for one last icy blast, and Counterspell to prevent anyone from ending your fun early.
20. Your capstone level of wizard gives you two Signature Spells, third level spells you can cast once per day for free. I picked Hypnotic Pattern and Summon Fey Spirit so you can keep your NPs at the ready.
For your final spells, grab Scrying to help you find new stories and Investiture of Wind for one of the few wind spells that actually does damage.
Pros:Â
Your Awakened Spellbook means your magical damage is very flexible. You can play to your strengths with cold damage when itâs convenient, but you can always fall back on a Forceball when up against anything that is immune. This also gives you great opportunity to flavor your spells to go the extra mile at the table, which could net you some DM points in the long run. Maybe.
Youâre a solid support caster, able to spy on targets and relay information to the rest of the team with spells, slow down enemies, or control the battlefield through wind and ice.
Finally, your life is tied to your spellbook, meaning you can die a lot before it actually takes. That probably isnât good for you, but living is always better than being dead.
Cons:
If you plan to die a lot, itâs probably going to happen, because both you and Nursery Rhyme have very low health. Yours is just barely above 100, and hers isnât even past 30 unless you use a simulacrum. I know the construct is flavorful, but you should probably just be yourself.
Summoning and charming both use Concentration, so youâll have to be careful with your Noble Phantasms. Also, your concentration isnât that good to begin with, but thatâs to be expected of a kid.
Also, while your spell attacks are flexible, it takes a while for you to get them. Until level 5, your only attacks are magic missile and frostbite, so be prepared to lean on the rest of the party if a fight breaks out at low levels.
Next up: Another child! A lot of children, actually...

Hi! Can I ask how you make your gifsets? (program, process)? Hope you have an amazing day, your Daisy gifs are gorgeous btw â¤ď¸đ
hello!! hope you also have a great day, and thank you!! and sorry this took a little longer to put together than i thought it would!!
i'll try to explain my process as best i can, and hopefully it makes sense.
program(s)
first, i use photoshop 2021 to make gifs, and i use mplayer osx extended for screencaps. also, i try to avoid using clips from YouTube because the quality usually isn't as good, but if I do have to use that I use 4k video downloader
process
first, first thing you need is the clip that you want to make gif from. the easiest way to find this (in my opinion) is just to search "[...] scene pack" or "[...] mega link." I usually try to make sure the clips i use are 1080p because anything less than that is lower in quality and the gifs aren't as sharp.
second, i open the clip in mplayer to get the screencaps ill use to make the gif. i do this by pausing the video right before the part i want to gif, then pressing and holding command+shift+s (for mac) until ive got the full scene. if you want, you can create a folder on your desktop for screencaps, but I usually just leave them there and delete them once im done.
the next step is when i actually open photoshop. to start, go to file>script>load files into stack
this is where you're going to load in the screencaps you just took. go to browse, then select the first screencap and hold down shift until you select the last screencap, then hit ok
after that i usually crop my gifs. in general, i use 540px x 400px, but that changes based on what exactly im giffing. the way i crop gifs is by clicking the crop icon on the left side, then, above the workspace, selecting W x H x Resolution > 540 px x 400 px > px/in
the next parts so the most complicated part to explain so im gonna use a picture for reference
click create frame animation
next, go to the three horizontal lines across from the word âtimelineâ at the bottom. once that menu opens, click âmake frames from layersâ at this point the gif is backwards, so youâll want to go back to that same menu and click âreverse frames.âÂ
now that your gifâs frames in the correct order, you can set frame delay. select all the frames in the timeline, then right click so get a box that looks like this:
i almost always set frame delay to .05, but if i have less than ~20 frames ill set it to 0.06Â Â Â
next, click the symbol in the bottom left corner (you can see it in the photo above) to convert the frames to a video timeline
after this, on the bottom right side, select each layer of the gif under the âlayersâ tab. right click, then select âconvert to smart object.â this will allow you to sharpen your gifs. to do that, at the top of the screen go to filter>sharpen>smart sharpen. the settings i use are 500% at 0.4px, then i sharpen again 10% at 10px Â
here's the gif before sharpening:
sharpened 500% at 0.4px:
sharpened 500% at 0.4px then 10% at 10px
coloring
once this parts done you can start coloring your gifs/adding adjustment layers. the main ones I typically use, in order, are curves, brightness, levels, selective color, and vibrance. the first three adjust the lighting of the gif and the last two adjust the color. other layers i use are saturation, color balance, and photo filter, which all adjust color. Â
to add adjustment layers, you can either 1. go to layer>add adjustment layer>select the layer type 2. pick a layer type from the icons on the right side (above the layer list)
honestly, the easiest way to do this part is to just select âautoâ and photoshop will automatically adjust curves, brightness, and levels, but i usually slightly tweak it from here until im happy with it.Â
curves: use the white dropper to select the lightest part of the gif and the black dropper to select the darkest part. you can manually adjust the curve within the little graph too, but typically you don't need to (i only do when the actual scene the gifs from has a tint i don't like, ex. if its really green ill go to the dropbar, go to green, then adjust it until ive mostly neutralized it)
brightness/contrast: brightening too much will sometimes decrease the quality, where increasing the contrast will sometimes help increase the quality
levels: honestly you can almost always get away with not using this unless the lighting in a scene is really bad/weird. use auto then adjust as neededÂ
this is what the gif looks like after adding adjustment layers: curves: input 85, output 92 brightness: brightness 19, contrast-32 levels: 0,1.11,255
now you can get to actually playing around with colors!Â
the first thing i do is add a layer of selective color, go to black, then increase black. this is one of the last ways to increase quality slightly, as it can make the gifs look a little sharper.
next i add vibrance. typically, unless the scene itself is already pretty colorful, ill increase vibrance almost fully, and slightly increase saturation. the issue with increasing saturation too much, especially when your giffing people, is the colors start to look really unnaturalÂ
for this particular gif, i added a hue/saturation layer, then decreased red and increase blue and cyan, because there was a lot of both of those colors in the background and i wanted it to stand out more. i then added another selective color layer and increased cyan for both blue and cyan.
these are the specific adjustments i made: selective color: black>black +9% vibrance: vibrance +76, saturation +10 hue/saturation: red -15 selective color: blue>cyan +75%, cyan>cyan 49% hue/saturation: blue +4, cyan +5
saving
once you're done coloring, you can save your gif. to do this, go to file>export>save for web (legacy)
these are the save settings i use:
also, the gif size limit for tumblr is 10M, so make sure your gifs are all under that size. if they're too big, you can either adjust the image size on the save page (or while making the gif) or shorten the gifÂ
and here's the final product!
i hope this was helpful :)Â

hello!!! what are your favorite fics??
Nonnie, what a question...
Letâs keep it short, top 10 under the cut:
1. The Chain by Lafayette1777
Rated: Not Rated (T) | Chapters: 6/6 | Complete | Word Count: 14,073
Summary: Do you not know how love works?
Shane and Ryan, in transition.
Commentary: Christ almighty, this will forever be my favorite fanfic in the entire world and I mean it. Iâm someone who has been in many fandoms for more than 15 years now and let me tell you something, I have never felt so much as I have with this story. Because itâs just so incredible well written and the characters are just what drives everything in it! The imagery, the feeling of it, each dialogue, all of this fic is wonderful and Iâm in love with it. PLEASE read it if you havenât.
2. Â canât take you home to mother (thatâs what i like about it) by redmaynes
Rated: E | Chapters: 7/8 | Ongoing | Word Count: 20428
Summary: âI still hate you, you know that?â Ryan gasped out after they finally broke for air, and he roughly shoved Shane back on the mattress to make quick work of the button of his jeans, and smirked when he heard Shane curse under his breath when he pulled down the zipper slowly, agonizingly.
âThe feelingâs mutual, baby,â Shane said through gritted teeth.
âDonât call me baby.â
Commentary: Fun fact: this was the first fic I read, and I did because I wanted to read smut and I was looking forward to know how this fandom expressed that kind of intimacy between these two, and I was hit by one of the most interesting scenarios put together for this kind of AU, good plot and great characterization. I adore this fic, Iâll go to hell and back for this fic. Itâs wonderful and.. how to explain it? Just plain olâ good, man.
3. Perfect Fit by moliuoli
Rated: E | One-shot | Complete | Word Count: Unkown
Summary: Thereâs a legend that says anyone able to take all of statue Shaneâs cock will summon the god to the mortal realm. Given the statueâs excessive size, no one has ever succeeded to prove or disprove the story.Until Ryan that is.
Commentary: When it comes to original AUs and situations, this fandom never disappoints. Look at this fic in particular, itâs a fun exploration of college life and loneliness in the most freakinâ horny way and thatâs why I loooove it and re-read it pretty often. My favorite from the author, too, and sheâs a writer I really like. This fic is work of art, a classic in the fandom, just incredible.
4. Let the Sunshine Burn Your Eyes by YogurtTime
Rated: E | One-shot | Complete | Word Count: 6,577
Summary: An innocent man of taste and leisure, Ricky Goldsworth, just wants to check into his hotel room, but gets into an altercation with the concierge while a mysterious gentleman in expensive-looking clothes watches nearby.
Commentary: The only RG persona fic I like! Iâm not ashamed to say Iâve read this fic more times than I have sat down to actually write something in years, lmao. Okay, so-- this masterpiece always puts me in a mood, in that mood that makes you grab a glass of wine, sip, stare into nothing and say âoh myâ. I LOVE IT. I know Iâm saying this about all fics in this list but lololol, itâs true. The writing in this is magical and transports you to another world, to the world the author wants you to see in this text and it makes you wonder everything about these characters and smile at the end. This, also-- has my favorite ending in a fic like this. Just. Oh my.
5. I would like that by Crimsonflowerz
Rated: T | One-shot | Complete | Word Count: 3,994
Summary: The third person who knew Ryan was trans was the ghost that haunted his apartment.
Commentary: This fic, oh-- I think about this fic and Shane in this fic a lot, actually. I always loved his character in this and I loved how much we knew of Ryan, his life and his feelings in it, because it let us wonder with him about Shane and his spirit, his life before being a ghost, and well-- you have to read to understand, this is one of the best fics in the fandom and it has one of the happiest and most hopeful endings and boy oh boy, am I a lover of happy ending. Read this beauty, I re-read it recently because my main fandom and its company broke my heart and my spirit last December, and this was the only thing that got me to stop crying over the way I was mocked by the male white creators of said main fandom. Life saving story.
6. ready if it happens with you by sarcasticfishesÂ
Rated: E | One-shot | Complete | Word Count:4,319
Summary: Itâs not a thing. Ryanâs just a little⌠touch-starved. Intimacy-starved.
Shane passes behind him when heâs sitting at his desk, idly touches Ryanâs shoulder, thumb brushing the curve of his neck â and goosebumps erupt down the length of Ryanâs arms.
Commentary: A beauty! I said to the author, who is a good friend, that I was really honored this fic has my name as one of the persons it was dedicated to, because my man believe me when I say this is a fucking beauty and itâs one of my favorite smuts and getting together fics in the fandom. Iâve thought of that scene in the dark so many times, of the way itâs written and described, and every and each action is driven by pure feelings and itâs just so gorgeous. You gotta read it.
7. You Are on the Fastest Available Route by InkStainsOnMyHands
Rated: T | One-shot | Complete | Word Count: 2,362
Summary: "Itâs in the light.â
[Based on the Local 58 YouTube Series]
Commentary: The night I read this fic, I couldnât sleep. It made me feel uneasy, made me think of it for days, and I still think of it. Often find myself wanting to re-read it and I wish I could live again that first moment when I read it. Once, when I was in a meeting, I filled a page of my moleskine with the summary of this fic, and kept thinking of Ryan hudding Shane as the light came, of him looking up, of the road in front of them, the hints that something was amiss. What a genius story.
8. We Went To An Orgy And We Didnât Have Sex (wellâŚkind ofâŚ) by iris_rise
Rated: Not Rated (M) | Chapters: 4/? | Abandoned | Word Count: 11,045 Â
Summary: They met at a bar that afternoon before filming started. Liquid courage, Ryan had called it. âOr a surefire way to a pair oâ whiskey dicks,â Shane quipped back, giving him a playful smile, and Ryan knew he was totally screwed.ORShane and Ryan agree to film a one-off Buzzfeed documentary-type show, âWe Went To An Orgy and We Didnât Have Sexâ, in which they attend a sex party and try to keep their hands off one another.
Commentary: I know what you guys are thinking about the title of this, but believe me when I say this fic is WONDERFUL. Itâs such a gorgeous work with so much soul, and I would never really be reccing an unfinished work that is likely abandoned by now if it wasnât THAT good. Soooo, let me tell you about the atmosphere this have, it has such a powerful spirit, it makes me cry that I will likely not know how it would have gone. Mother of GOD, this is perfect. Also one of my favorite interpretations of dom!Shane.
9. we are breathing river water by undeadapocalypse
Rated: M | One-shot | Complete | Word Count: 4,503
Summary: Â Shane thought, through the kisses and the feeling of Ryanâs skin all over his, too much but not enough, I will not.
Between the light ending up off and the clumsy hands in a dark room, the floorboards that hide secrets despite not being theirs, he thought to himself, I will not fall in love with him.
The tabernacle reconstructed. He falls in love with him.or: a fic based off of âlitany in which certain things are crossed outâ
Commentary: Richard Siken is my favorite poet out there and when I found this fic and saw it was based on my favorite poem, I almost died right there. And to my delight, it was an excellent fic and even now, many reads later, itâs still an amazing fic with a beautiful ending that haunts me in the best of ways. Every part of this fic, the images of it, the parts were you can feel the poem in it, all of it, I love it with all my heart. Read it. Itâs beautiful.
10. Â I live alone in a paradise (that makes me think of two) by Ros_ora_sal
Rated: Not Rated (T) | Chapters: 4/4 | Complete | Word Count: Â 26,971
Summary: Ryan and Shane get stuck in a haunted house together.
Commentary: Oh, this fic. Oh this fic and its brutal plot filled with mystery, hope and even a few scares. Man, do I love this fic. Something I adore of this fandom is its more dark or weird stories, and this one hit me in the face with how good it was, really a gorgeous addition to our fandom. The story and the way its written has stayed with me ever since I read it, and I promise you it will stay with you too.

1. describe how you first started writing and when you first posted
i began to write in general since i was around 14 like any other emo kid kdjdjsks and o began to write fics when a friend asked me for one as a birthday present. it was written in a hurry and itâs not my favorite but i really enjoyed doing it. i posted that exact same fic on their birthday
2. which of your characters do you typically resonate most closely with? do you base any characters off of yourself?
it depends the fic i guess. and not really, i think the closest iâve been to do that is in the rockstar au (coming to the @bottomlouisficfest very soon), i put one or two of my old insecurities in h so he could connect better and wouldnât be persieved as just an asshole-y dude cause i donât like that and louis donât deserve that uwu

COMMISSIONS OPEN 9/2/20
Hello all! Inks here!
Iâm opening up commissions for Writing/Drawing/Notebooks to help my sister get through her last semester of college, and hereâs prices and what I can do below the cut! Iâll be taking 5 commissions at a time, and once those are done, will be opening for another 5.
Writing commissions:
Here is my AO3 for writing samples.
Pricing:Â
$5.00 per 1,000 words
OCâs x cannon are +$3
OC x OC are +$4
Information:
I do not do NSFW because Iâm honestly inexperienced with writing it. The most I will do is leading up to the actual act, but then fade to black. I will also not do any adult/minor ships. I have a right to turn down any request if it makes me uncomfortable, and in the situation that I canât provide the content that you are asking for, etc.Â
Iâm open to writing for a lot of fandoms, but I will let you know if I havenât seen it or am comfortable enough with the characters and or fandom to write it. I am most comfortable with writing in the BNHA fandom.
If you are wanting a new world or fantasy world of your creating, I will charge and additional $5 for the world building that is needed for writing the piece.
Original Characters: If you are looking to have a fic written for your OC(s), I will need information on their personality, appearance, and anything else that you find necessary and relevant to the fic.

Session 1 10 Jul 2021
We start a little later than usual today as our illustrious DM has been working hard to provide a game from scratch for us this week!
We were asked to provide him with a name, race, sub-race, and a class if we wanted to. We were not asked to draw up character sheets or determine stats and so on, and itâs been driving us (all now at least somewhat seasoned D&D players) up the wall. Matthew hops on to the chat after Joe drops the link to the game, to ask us not to open our character sheets if we sign in early. Duncan tells us he has emphasised this casual torture by having not even read the rules for his class; he likes to live on the edge.
When we sign in, we are greeted with this calming landing page (we know it's calming, because Matthew tells us it is):
Ah. Well thatâs alright then.
We are told this campaign could last ten minutes or the rest of our lives; Matthew is hoping for somewhere in the middle. We have some technical issues - as is to be expected. Roll20 is a steep learning curve. One might even call it a wall.
Weâre told that this entire fiasco is based off a spoof tv show that Matthew saw late at night once and thought it would be fun to base a one-shot on. Then it got out of hand, and now has the potential to become a full campaign. Here's hoping! Without further ado, we dive inâŚ
Cora (Ishara) stands beside a crossroads. There is a sundial at its centre; she sees the shadow pass over its face. An elven merchant passes, cart laden with water jugs. She waves, but her face is a picture of fury. The sundial's shadow disappears - it is midday. Another elven merchant passes, this one with a cart of food. She also waves, but she is in floods of tears. The sundial shows that dusk is approaching. A third elven merchant passes, with a cart full of empty glass jars. She laughs hysterically as she passes by, waving as she goes.
Night falls and the moon rises. A fourth merchant approaches, but this one does not wave. Her face is blank as she walks toward Cora - she drops a bunch of snapdragons at Cora's feet and continues walking. Cora picks the flowers up and admires them; half the bunch withers and dies, and the other half grows to twice its size. She drops them to the ground; as the new roots touch it, the earth collapses beneath her -
She awakens, to see Leslie:
He tells her he doesnât know who she is, but she shouldnât be sleeping here.
We all awake now, in what appears to be the ruins of a battlefield.
We are all zombies.
Huh.
We see each other as friends; in fact the word 'zombie' in Friend means 'friend'. We know this, because as it turns out, we all speak Friend.
But not Common. Hmm.
Leslie tells us his name and asks why weâre sleeping here?
We roll History checks to see if we remember anything; that will be hard for Marcus who has -3 INT.
Pilfer remembers his name, and something about a boat, and nothing else. No idea where he is or why, or who his new friends are. Ren knows that this is definitely his lute. He takes it. Will he remember how to play it?
Hilda remembers nothing about how she got here, but she remembers fighting in a war. A big one. It was important; significant to her. Marcus remembers little more than Ren. Thatâs definitely his rucksack, though. Milo knows something is missing but he canât figure out what. Cora remembers her dream. There was a risk that she wouldnât. Sheâs told it didnât feel like her dream, even though she was dreaming it.
We heard voice from behind a wall saying, âFriends? Friends!â Leslie rolls his eyes.
Cora goes to the wall to see if she can lend aid to the owner of the voice. It is coming from very close to Hilda. Should she do something about it? Where are we?
Hilda rolls a nat 20 for her Perception check. (Fun new house rule: if we are using a skill or tool and roll a nat20, we gain Proficiency - ooo!)
It is carnage around us. A huge fight has happened here. Imagine the biggest battle from the LotR movies - what we see laid out before us makes that look like a boundary dispute between neighbours.
Does Ren feel peckish when he looks at the bodies? It looks like food, but food has this habit of moving around; once it stops doing that, itâs bad food. We are all aware of this; what we're looking at is No Longer Food.
There are old fires and signs of burns on the ground. Amongst all this we hear the bewildered, friendly voice again asking for help. Itâs coming from the remains of a building that has been destroyed by fire or magic or something of that ilk.
Hilda goes to investigate, and Pilfer goes to look as well. It turns out Matthew meant to put us on a different map, but we have been looking at the crossroads this whole time. Whoops! We switch to the map. Technical issues, please stand byâŚ
(Matthew, direct quote: âJOE! Make it better, help!â
Joe helps, and makes it better. We continue⌠)
Ren has a go at tuning his lute. He makes a Performance check. an 8! We are all suitably distracted.
The voice calls again. âFriends?â
Where is this voice, and whose is it?
Leslie introduces himself again, rather pointedly probably, and we all introduce ourselves this time. Leslie seems particularly enamoured by Milo. The voice asks us what are we going to call him?
Pilfer suggests Bingo; Bingo likes that so thatâs his name now. Pilfer asks how long heâs been here? He heard us get up and before that it was dark, but before that it was quite bright. Before that it was dark, and before that it was bright. Before that there was a lot of angry people, and there was a lot of food, and now the foodâs all gone. He tried to leave, but he couldnât.
Pilfer - formerly a drow elf - is dismayed to discover that it is daytime. He panics until he finds his parasol.
Ren gets a nat20 - he now has proficiency in Investigation! (There is a limit to the number of these bonuses we can receive, we are warned.) He and Marcus and Hilda all see Bingo's problem. Pilfer, however, has got lost in Bingoâs eyes again. Heâs a good looking fella.
âWould that we had met before the rot set in!â
Milo gets distracted when some food shouts at him from over the bridge - it then pegs it away. Milo wants to follow, but we are all Slow (-10feet). The food disappears into the trees. He is disappointed, and hungry. He sits on a bit of broken bridge and sulks; Leslie joins him. He offers to help him look for some more food.
Bingo is pinned in place with a spear through his sternum - heâs upright, and the spear is piercing him from above. Can we pull it out? Or him out? Marcus has a go at pulling him by the hands - and manages to get Bingo off the spear with a 19 STR check. Bingo is very pleased. Ren asks if he wants the spear back; Bingo says itâs not his. Ren takes it instead, and adds it to his inventory. He has two now.
Bingo says heâs going to find the horde.
Us, politely confused: "The what?"
The horde! Itâs the best! We should totally join him.
Leslie pats Milo on the back and tells him not to be disheartened. Weâll find some food. We suspend our disbelief while Matthew puts some food on the map that we didnât notice sneaking up on usâŚ
Ren rolls another nat20, getting proficiency with Perception. Thanks to Miloâs alertness, the food doesnât get the drop on him either. Pilferâs stomach rumbles, and we roll initiative. (Marcus gets five XP for helping Bingo off the spear!)
Noticing that we appear to have noticed them, the food closest to us appears to be carrying a stick. Uh oh⌠Food uses tools, this is the thing we learn first. The first food seems reluctant to move towards us, so it holds an action.
Cora is up first. She shambles 20 feet, and uses her action to dash twenty more feet and gets right up to some food and zombie-groans in its ear.
Milo remembers different food, food that you have to sneak up on, so he has a go at that. He rolls a Bad stealth check, and uses all fifteen of his feet, loudly announcing what he is doing to Leslie as he goes.
A food bonks Cora on the head with a stick for 15 to hit, which does, for 2 bludgeoning damage. Another food advances towards us - heâs wobbling his arm and pointing to the food that bonked Cora on the head.
Marcus shamble-dashes toward Cora, upsetting the food that sheâs in melee with. Another food tries to hit him, but misses. Marcus consoles it.
Pilfer moves forward. Can he throw a dagger? Yes he can. He hucks his knife at a food. 21 to hit! Right in the shanks. 3 piercing damage! He did not get the food in the shanks; he got it in the neck.
He feels a weird urge to snack. All the other foods look very unnerved at this development. The food isnât quite dead, but clutching its neck with blood pouring through its fingers and making an agonized squealing noise.
Pilfer: â... Is he okay?â
Hilda waddles up to another food, the one that lurched forward at us. She gives it a smash with her greatclub for 13 to hit.
Matthew kicks himself out of the game. We won!
Moving onâŚ
Hildaâs attack hits, for 9 bludgeoning damage. She destroys the food. Can she still eat it? As a bonus action she eats some of the food, before it spoils. (Matthew moves the token to get it out of the way. Hilda, aggrieved: âI was eating that!â)
Renâs turn. He swings the lute around, remembering that a lute is a useful thing to have; he canât remember what to do with it so he swings it back out of the way and gets his spear instead. He stabs at the food in front of him. He spears it successfully and goes to town before it spoils. âYum yum.â He says grace, which sounds like a beautiful prayer to us, and like hideous gurgling to the food.
Another food rushes at Hilda, seeing the thing she just done. It natty 20s her, but the damage is only 4.
Cora swings her mace at the food in front of her, to get to the juicy filling. 11 to hit, which does, and 3 bludgeoning damage. Sheâs tenderised it good; thatâll melt in the mouth, that will. Fall right off the bone.
Milo has heard all this going on; he goes back up and throws a javelin at the food attacking Hilda. He crit-fails. Whoops! He gears up and swings, and throws the javelin in completely the wrong direction. He looks at Leslie, who shrugs.
"I'd have thrown that over there, if I were you."
Leslie moves up, and old Bingoâs gonna get in the game as well. (Matthew forgot to roll initiative for them on the first round. He puts them in the turn order; better odds for us, yeah!)
Coraâs food tries to hit her again, but misses. There must be delicious sauce in its eyes.
Marcus batters the food in front of him with a slam attack, not realising thereâs a quarterstaff on his back that he could use. He hits and kills the food, and goes to town. It turns out that that was Pilferâs food; he retrieves his dagger and stops for a little nibble. A fistful of the insidey-bits is a great snack-on-the-go. He has enough movement to flank another food, so he does that, and makes a slam attack against it. He has prepared another meal!
Hildaâs turn, and the meals around her are in full swing; she uses both her action and her bonus action to snack on two different foods.
(Ed, OOC: âIs it bad that this game is making me hungry?â)
Ren too decides to feast on the 'horrible visceral tapas' that surrounds him. (We are adjusting swiftly to our new circumstance.)
Cora has another go at the pudding with a slam attack, hits the wrong button, finds the right one, and hits that for 13 damage which makes contact. 8 bludgeoning! She has prepared the heck out of that meal by swinging at the head and taking it clean off.
We are out of initiative! Pilfer waves a bit of meat at Bingo and invites him to join us. Milo seasons his own meal with the spices in his bag and even washes his hands, remembering that thatâs important to do before eating. Pilfer empties his waterskin and fills it with blood. If he shakes it every now and again itâll be fine.
It turns out that our meal doesnât seem appetising for very long, and we quickly realise that our food has spoiled.
We roll Perception checks, at Disadvantage because weâre eating. Leslie doesnât seem interested in the food.
Pilfer asks him whatâs up, why isnât he chowing down with the rest of us? Heâs eating his own meal, he hints. Ren would love to Investigate Leslie. There seem to be bits of plant coming out of wounds or open sores on his body; he catches Ren looking and explains that although heâs a Friend, he eats it a bit differently. Over a period of time. We arenât really talking to the person-suit, weâre talking to the plant inside the body. He uses the food to get around a bit more easily. And he can eat it even though itâs gone grey. The word he uses is 'compost'.
But, he assures us, we are all Friends here.
Fair dos. So, to the horde then?
Bingo looks really excited at this. Do we know where the horde is, he asks us?
"... We donât even know what the horde is."
If we want to know who and what we are, Leslie might know someone who knows someone
There is a gnawing in the back of our heads (not worms); maybe we might want to know more about ourselves than just our names. (Which - it's odd that we even know our names. That's certainly more than Bingo knew.) Hilda thinks we might not want to know; we might upset ourselves.
We can follow Bingo to the horde. Or we could go with Leslie and take Bingo with us, and do horde stuff later? Weâre full now, and all the food has gone bad, so we may as well follow Leslie. We get 15 XP for eating all that food.
We walk through the battlefield and the heaps of spoiled food. Occasionally we hear shouting in the distance:
Random friend: âFriend? Friend!â
Bingo, shouting back: âIâm called Bingo!â
New Bingo: âOh, wow! Can I be called Bingo?â
Bingo Prime: âSure!â
(Ed returns from the kitchen with snacks, very confused to arrive back in the middle of this.)
We shuffle along with Leslie. There are a lot of Bingos about, after a while. It starts to get dark. Ren remembers he has a tail. Leslie turns to us and says he once inhabited a food with a tail. It wasnât a grippy one, but it was quite furry. He doesnât know what youâd call it, but it was quite entertaining to see the looks on the other foods' faces.
Leslie doesnât like to travel overnight, so we sit down in a little sitting around circle. His eyes arenât good in the dark. Do we feel tiredâŚ? We donât need to sleep, but that doesnât mean that we canât. Every so often we hear the little Bingo exchange in the distance. (Weâre going to regret this.)
We roll INT checks at Disadvantage - Marcus rolls a 16. Maybe itâs a faded memory, but he is pretty certain he remembers going to sleep in a similar situation, and one person stayed awake. He suggests to the others that one of us should stay awake; most of them don't seem to follow his train of thought. He remains awake and so does Milo; Ren paces in circles until he gets bored.
Those of the group that try to sleep, give it a go. They donât dream exactly. Those that stay awake still get the benefits of a long rest. Yay!
(We break for tea and cigarettes and whatnot.)
Bingo lies down, seeing some of us do that, and asks what weâre doing. Those of us that stay awake roll Perception checks.
While Matthewâs computer reboots, he tells Cora about her dream.
She stands in a familiar room; the bookshelves around her are laden with ancient texts. She notices that there is no door. She starts to feel anxious. Music sounds, from a hearth that wasn't there a moment ago. There is a music box open on the stone floor. She kneels down and closes the lid, and finds herself standing in a field. Her anxiety fades to contentment as she stands in the short, but lush, green grass. About a hundred feet away, a large black stag with eyes of fire begins to charge her. She begins to float, and the stag passes harmlessly beneath her. She flies over the treetops. Behind her she sees a triangle of ravens flying in her wake. She lands, surrounded by friends and safe, and the ravens continue on.
Marcus and Milo stayed awake; Marcus was distracted, wondering what the twinkly in the sky lights do and if anyone will ever walk on the surface of one, that kind of thing. Milo sees figures that appear to be advancing towards us. Uh oh!
Is it friends or food? Milo thinks itâs almost definitely food. It did not introduce itself as Bingo. Milo alerts us all that our delivery has arrived, and we roll initiative.
Cora goes first. She nobbles one with her mace and a nat 20 for 7 bludgeoning damage. She sees some sauce come out.
Marcus Slams another one; he makes a dent in it. (He still hasnât realised he has a quarterstaff.)
A guard attacks Hilda with a spear. Hilda, sounding mildly inconvenienced: âNooo!â 13 hits. Things are getting a little more real. She takes 6 piercing damage and is quite poorly.
Milo wants to know if this food is human sized; it is. He shambles into one and does a slam at it, and has a go at chomping off a couple of crunchy fingers. 18 hits. Milo, extremely pleased: âDelicious!â 8 chomping damage, and he comes away with some delicious bits of food. If this guy was planning on using his spear two handed, he may have to re-think his strategy.
Leslieâs turn. He makes it quite a way out to his chosen food, but his attack misses. The food next to Cora has a go at clobbering her with a 9 - which misses.
Pilferâs turn, and he zips down toward another food to whale on it. He rolls a dirty 20 and slams him good, also doing max damage.
Hilda's turn! 15 with her club just misses, and sheâs very annoyed about it. As a bonus action she wants to still try and have a chomp, but nothing happens.
The food fighting with Marcus fails to hit him, as does the one with Leslie. Miloâs food natty 20s him for 13 damage, and heâs down. Oh no! He rolls a good CON save and pops back with 1 HP.
Another food attacks Bingo and another attacks Pilfer but misses. Ren shambles across to help our good friend Bingo by poking the food with his spear, hitting for 4.
Bingo does a slam on the food as well, but misses. Marcus misses his attack; he is marinading it in its sauce, he says. Squeezing it like a mango to check for ripeness.
Cora rolls an 18 with her mace, and 3 bludgeoning. The food looks nearly ready. She falls upon it and has a chew. (Matthew: âGross. I like it.â)
15 hits Marcus for 7 spikinâ in the tummy. No worries; he's got four more spikin' in the tummy left. Miloâs next slam hits, doing 6 points of munching damage, eating it to the point of perfection. It runs around screaming with a little halfling zombi- friend, attached to it first; Milo sets about feasting when it lies down and stops moving.
Leslie does an attack, and prepares another meal as Matthew plays D&D by himself. Pilfer has another attack - a 15 just misses. âCurse you!â
Hilda has another go with her great club for a 17, and 10 bludgeoning damage. Her food went from raw to almost perfect in one hit. Itâs still moving about a bit, but in a much more âready to be foodâ fashion.
Renâs food swings at him and misses. Ren, put out: âThe food's just playing with me. It's supposed to be the other way around, right?â
Pilferâs food fumbles at him and hits, and heâs none too pleased about it. He takes two HP damage when his food pokes him. âHow dare it! Iâm getting pre-eating indigestion, somehow.â
Ren does another poke with his spear. âStop moving around! It makes it harder to bite you!â Six misses, unfortunately.
Hildaâs food attacks her for 14, which hits for 5 damage and sheâs down. She rolls a CON save, but fails. She is at 0HP. She will be rolling undeath saves, oh no!
Bingo slams his food and misses. Marcus prepares his food with a crunch, and begins chomping.
Cora would like to kneecap her food so it canât escape. The kneecaps are one of the best bits. 7 damage to the food (not Marcus!) and begins to chomp as well.
Miloâs meal is going down a treat, but he notices that Hilda appears to be lying down even though her food is standing up. Is her food trying to eat her? Heâs not having this; Friends are not Food! He slings his javelin at Hildaâs food. The javelin hits, and he gives it a good dressing down. âRude!â
We donât understand it, but the remaining food is very distressed. If we could understand the food, we'd hear it saying, âOh my God, theyâre using tools!â
Leslie dashes at full pelt, but doesnât get far. He looks puffed out; or he would if there was breath in his body.
Pilfer slams his food for a nat20. âYES! YES! Whatâs that mean, do I roll damage twice? Yes! YES! Look at all that damage. Yes! I bludgeon him to the floor, I eat him.â
Hilda rolls an undeath save: a 17, yay!
The last guard takes his turn. Looking around him he realises heâs in trouble, so he legs it. Wait - Ren is still struggling with a live one, and the guard isnât going to abandon his mate. He runs up to Ren and gives him a bit of a poke - 12 just hits him. He takes 4 points of being stabbed. However -
It is now his turn. The food that heâs stabbed looks closer to edible than the newly arrived food. He stirs his spear around in it for 23, and 6 piercing damage. His food is well prepped and looking delicious.
Bingo hasnât had much luck prying open the last one, so he has a go at Renâs new arrival but misses. Itâs been a long day.
While Marcus is shovelling stuff into his mouth, he notices that Hilda is down. Upon seeing her, his rotting brain supplies ââŚfood?â But he remembers thatâs not right. He shuffles over and pokes her with a Medicine check of 9; he canât figure out why sheâs lying down. Yelling âGet up!â doesnât seem to do anything.
Cora shambles over to the two of them with a handful of brain pudding, and attempts to feed it to Hilda. She rolls a Medicine check - another 9. On the plus side, itâs not like she can choke her to death.
Milo has just eaten a whole hand, so he comes over for a poke at Hilda as well. He snaps off a finger from his food and tries to poke it into her mouth. It works! Heâs very pleased. This feels familiar to him.
Leslie pats still-unconscious Hilda on the head. In broad Gloucestershire accent: âThere there.â
Pilfer proceeds to his second course. A dirty 20 for 6 bludgeoning, hitting it so hard on the top of the head that its neck disappears into its chest. The guard returns in kind - 9 to hit, which misses.
the guard looks worried as he looks around. â⌠Fuck.â We, of course, do not understand him.
Ren gets confused and tries to stab his food with his lute, but misses. Bingo misses again. Itâs a wonder heâs survived this long.
Marcus natty 20s the last food, for 11 HP. "That's as many hit points as I have on a good day!"
DM: "That's as many hit points as he started with."
While we wait for Hilda to wake up, we can search for loot! Or lute! Who knows!
We leave it there, and Matthew will tell us what treasures we find on our respective food. Pilfer makes a prawn cocktail with gizzards.
